The Last Breath Society (Coughing Coffin) is a living installation and exhibition, featuring daily durational performances by Martin O’Brien and a series of 10 commissioned video works by Franko B, Ansuman Biswas, Rocio Boliver, Noëmi Lakmaier, Lechedevirgen Trimegisto, Joseph Morgan Schofield, Kira O’Reilly, Sheree Rose, Shabnam Shabazi, and Nicholas Tee.
PS X - A Decade of Performance Art in UK

What dreaming of performance art in the UK would be complete without a durational live event? PSX culminated with a special 10 hour performance, across which 9 exceptional artists shared space and time.

Hermann Nitsch - A SHORT HISTORY OF PERFORMANCE

Somewhere between a travelling cinema and theatre troupe, a kiss-a-gram and a takeaway delivery service, London-based artist Oreet Ashery’s Party for Freedomis an itinerant work that combines live performance with moving-image and an original album soundtrack.

Acephalous Monster

Ron Athey is an iconic cultural figure who started in performance in the early 1980s in context of L.A.’s underground music scene. Best known for his boundary-pushing body mutilations, Ron Athey has been pursuing the transcendent and sublime through performance for more than three decades. Athey’s work invents new forms of ritual and celebration, conjuring the sacred as an antidote to the empty individualism of contemporary life, and pushing towards the merging of humans and gods.
Performing the WAL/Make archive -TATE MODERN

Oriana Fox was invited to engage with the unique Women’s Art Library/Make, based at Goldsmiths, University of London. The result was an evening of new work and a series of tableaux vivant illustrating an abbreviated history of feminist performance art that will include artists as diverse as Carolee Schneemann, Vanessa Beecroft, Marina Abramovic, Rebecca Horn, Shirley Cameron and Evelyn Silver, Annie Sprinkle and Linda Montano. Performers featured in Oriana Fox’s piece are Judy Batalion, Sharon Bennett, Lucy Dear, Georgina Leahy, Carole Luby, Genevieve Maxwell and Lorraine Smith.
