Clod Ensemble – The Red Chair

Clod Ensemble – The Red Chair

This intimate new show from Clod Ensemble has a dark, original fairy tale at its heart. “The Red Chair” is a surreal ballad that tells the story of a man who could not stop eating, the wife doomed to cook his meals and their ‘inveesible’ daughter. Join acclaimed writer/performer Sarah Cameron as she takes you on a journey through a world of extreme compulsion and eye watering complacency, where domestic drudgery happens on an operatic scale and a father’s dereliction of duty reaches epic propor

Someone Something Someone

Someone Something Someone

The world is in a constant state of flux. Two bodies engage in a delicate physical activity, striving to become something other than a body: material, force, a single organism. Colliding, pushing, pressing, mingling, uniting. A sculptural and minimal performance that seeks to entice the audience into the details of micro-movement.

STILL_MÓVIL – El Discurso del Cuerpo

During an ‘improvisation’ a sensitive body is open to perceive the elements of the surrounding and use this impulse as a stimulus for movement.

STILL_MÓVIL – Retrato

STILL_MÓVIL – Retrato

I consider a portrait a kind of performance for the camera. During a portrait I can follow the instruction of the photographer but ultimately I’m in control of presenting my ‘self’ to the purpose to be transformed into an image.

STILL_MÓVIL – Acción Anatómica

STILL_MÓVIL – Acción Anatómica

To verbalise means to express an idea or feelings in words. In the passage from dance to the spoken language I encounter the ‘Verb’ as the manifestation of the action, of the movement.
